Koda is a big gentle giant male St. Bernard, 14 months old, and neutered. Good with kids and was raised with small children, is good with other dogs. Not cats. Koda was surrendered to the rescue when the family could no longer care for him with another child on the way.

St. Bernard’s are slow movers, very loyal, patient, obedient, eager and willing to please. Highly intelligent, they have a sixth sense of pending danger from storms and avalanches. They have a low tolerance to heat. They shed twice a year. The eyes need special attention to keep clean and free of irritants. Can be couch potatoes, but with daily walks would be fine in a small yard. Weight varies between 110-200. Prefer an adopter experienced with large breed dogs.

The tape on his back legs is because he just had his dewclaws removed.
