Update April 17, 2016: Congratulations to Jordie! She’s found her forever home in Sonora, CA!

This good natured, happy, fun loving, scruffy and fuzzy people loving dog is hoping for a forever home. She would love to be someone’s walking, running, or hiking buddy. Help make her Christmas Wish for a loving home come true!

Jordie is a female Idaho Fuzzy, which is a combination of Bearded Collie, Airedale, Wheaten Terrier, and border collie. She is about 11-12 months old. The Idaho Fuzzy is bred for stamini and herding abilities by ranchers. She came to the rescue after being found alone out in the desert, after running for some time. Jordie is a people dog – she loves to give hugs and kisses. Very intent on the cars passing by when riding in a vehicle, and loves to play with toys. She is good with other dogs, though she was starved when she came to the rescue, so she needs her own food bowl as she is in fear of not getting food. She could care less about cats, but tries to lick them. She is good on a leash, and loves to go for rides. She is very smart and alert and learns very quickly. Jordie would thrive in a one dog home with lots of attention.
